Who's your friend?

In the book Disappearance, Gracie now explains why, and when she has been getting thes visions. Also, someone crashed a new house, and Gracie is also getting visions about who did it, however she does not know who the person is th vision is.  Also, she is having visions about a murder, and she thinks that thy must connet some how to the dead body that the boy found when he dived off the deck of the restruant.

       An excerpt from the text says, "My rep has not improved since everyone found out I get psychic flashes.... I wish I could tell them that I can't see inside them.
   
      Another passage is, "So if Marigold and Diego ask me that Saturday afternoon in November if I wanted to hang with them, and Marigolds brother, I should say no.."


I would think that Gracie would fit in with me, and my group of friends. I think this because, the second text, shows how Gracie would say know to hang out with her cousin, Diego, and Marigold. She ould do this because she does not want to hang out with the wrong crowd. She knows what Marigolds brother did in the past, and she does not want to hang out with him, because anything could happen again. From the first quote, I think that I could become Gracies friend, because I would not bother her about her phychic flashes, and I would not want to treat her any different then the other  students. In the book, it also showed how people kept on asking her the same 3 queshtions, on what she could do since she is phychic. I would not act the same way as these students are. I would make Gracie feel comfertable, and not annoy her. This is why I think that my group of  friends and I would be friends with Gracie.

DISAPPEARANCE
      My book, is written by Jude Watson. So far, my book is about a girl who went to a restraunt with her cousin, her cousins girlfriend, and a few of their friends. The boys, who were at the restraunt, began to get into a little argument, that led to diving off the deck of the restraunt. When tthe boy named Dylan dived off, he felt a body wile he was in the ocean. Now, when Gracies dad comes to meet her, things start becoming scay for Gracie. (Her dad left her since she was a little girl, and her mom died.) She begins to have visions, which no one believes her about. Also, she thinks that they connect to her dad, in a way. Now, we will have to find out to see if Gracie, and her dads realationship, is connected to the dead body!

     "I was afraid I'd turn you into me," he says. ..."Some mornings I could not get out of bed," he says. I thought- it's happening to me. I'm going to ruin Gracies life. She'll be better off without me."     pg.29

I think this because he wishes that he could have visited Gracie, and her cousin, and aunt more often. He regrets that he was never there for them. Also, he feels sorry for Gracie, becuase she lost her mom, and now she also does not have a dad with her, and he didn't do anything about it. Also, in the begining of the book, they mentioned that her dad never cared, and was rude. This also shows now, he wants to make a change, and do something, and he rues what he did in the past.

A girl, who is so far not given a name, is in a dark room. She is alone and does not know where she is. She does not remember her  name or any of her friends or family members. She gingerly walks towards a bright light and sees images of items circulating around her. There is a bracelet, a spoon, a pair of socks, hairclips, a handbag, and a few more items. Now, she is expected to meet up with someone named Gabriel, but she does not know this person...

Protagonist VS. Antagonist
Pg. 6-13 The Sweatshirt

The protagonist in The EVERAFTER is Madison Stanton. She is the protagonist, because when she went back in time, she tried to fix her problems, with the items that she lost. In this chapter, she lost a red sweatshirt. This belonged to a boy, and she found it and decided to return in back to him. This is all happening by the real living Madison. Therfore thee are two Madisons, one is dead, and the other is alive. The dead Madison, knows what is going to happen, and tries to stop it, because she knows that the real Madison is going to make the wrong move. Suddenly, the dead Maddy becomes the real Maddy. She knows that a girl named Dana is going to steal the read sweatshirt from her, and this is how it did go missing. Therfore, she did not get it back.


The antagonist in the book, would have to be the living maddison's death. The death of her, caused her to not move when she was at the setting of the art class. An excert from page 6, is I tried to remember what it was like to have a body since I didn't have one. Also, she thought that she was in a bad place, when the setting was descibed as dark and lonely. Madison,died because she did something bad with all of those items. The death of her, could have been the protagonist however when the dead Madison became the real Madison, everything that already happened, happened again, meaning she could not give the sweatshirt back to the boy.

Begining: Lynn, Katie and their family, moved to a white town, with only a few japaneas people. Katie, and Lynn and their family are very poor, and Katie (the younger sister) always talks about how she wants to buy 7 houses for her parents 1 day.

Middle: The authour talks about the parents jobs, and how they had a new baby brother named Sammy. Later on in the book the mom interacts with some white people. Sammy, Lynn and Katie went on a picnic, and Sammy got stuckin a trap, but he got rescued, thanks to an American guy who took him to the hospital. Lynn also met a friend named Amber who changed Lynn's perosnality, buy making her more girly, and making her wear lipstick.

End: At the end of the book, Lynn dies, because of a sickness that she has. Now Katie tries her best to do better in school, and make Lynn proud.

Towards the end of the book, when Katie finds out that Lynn died, the authour did not add much deatail about her reaction, so I assumed that she was okay, however later on in the novel, that mention that Katie cries alot, because if lynn. This tells me that she was upset but if i were in Katies shoes, I would have been crying when I found out that my sister died. Therefor what I am trying to say is that the authour should have added more information about the thoughts and feelings that Katie had so that the reader will understand the mood better.

"Promise you'll always love mebest," she whispered fiercfuly.

After reading this, i can see how Hellen is just trying to get Heather to love her, and nobody else.I likeed the way Heather reacted, when Hellen said that. However I didn't like how Heather still wanted to be with hellen. If i had the power to change this event, i would change it by Heather yelling at Hellen, and telling her that I can't like her more than my own father. In short,this is how i would use my powers to change this event on the story. Heather constantly stands by hellens side, and follows her, but now it was her time to be assertive.

I thought it was great book because there was a lot of tention exciment and thrilling scenes

Buck acts very introverted, when he is around Perrault and Francois. On thees two pages, it talkes about how thees two dogs intimidate Buck. Bucks responce, to their meaness, is just ignoring them. Perrault, and Francois yelled, and threw things at Buck, until he ran away. I disagree with the way he acted, because if I was in Bucks position, then I would not act passive, i would actually do the same to them, and act tought, so that they will not bully me.This is why I disagree with Buck, about this situation.
